At the beginning of each trial, characters will receive a notification on their phones indicating that the FRUIT JUICER app is now active. Accessing the application will automatically direct them to a poll where they may cast their vote for one of the remaining contestants — if they wish to vote at all. Voting is not mandatory in The Vine and contestants may simply opt not to do so! Or they could even, you know, vote for somebody who they think is completely unrelated to the murder just for funsies. The app will remain active for the duration of the trial. Afterward, it will once again go offline. OOCly, players are allowed to change their vote up until the trial ends. ICly, character who decide to cast a vote only have one shot to do so. No takebacksies for them if they change their mind later! Comments to this post will be screened. If you wish to vote, all you have to do is reply to the corresponding week's top level. If you will be abstaining from voting, then there's no need to comment at all. There will be no punishments for abstaining in this game.
